This online activity allows students to participate in a simulated research center at the National Air and Space Museum. Students take on the role of either an intern or research assistant and perform research tasks, calculations and analyses similar to those carried out by professional researchers in the field of astronomical research. This is a companion activity to the Explore The Universe exhibition, now on display at the National Air and Space Museum. The activity is undergoing refinements and will return summer of 2002.
