The National Air and Space Museum (NASM) is the Smithsonian Institution's museum of aviation and space history. This spectacular collection is housed at two sites, the flagship building on the National Mall and the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Northern Virginia. Each year millions of visitors from around the world visit both sites, making it the most visited museum in the world. The legendary artifacts and unique settings make these sites remarkable event venues for a private evening.

As the site of over 80 special events each year, the Museum's flagship building has long been distinguished as one of Washington's premiere event sites.  The flagship building is conveniently located on the National Mall at Independence Avenue and Sixth Street, SW.

The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center offers visitors a stunning panorama of aircraft suspended from its ten-story arched trusses and displayed on the floor of its aviation and space hangars . This fantastic showcase of never-before-seen icons of aviation and space history hosts over 80 events annually. The Center is located near Washington Dulles International Airport in Chantilly, Virginia at the intersection of Routes 28 and 50.

Organizations that support the Museum with a donation are invited to co-sponsor celebratory events.  Donors have exclusive use of the facility for their cosponsored event .  Fundraisers and events of a political, religious, or personal nature (such as weddings and birthday parties) may not be held in a Smithsonian facility.

Upon request, the Museum will provide co-sponsoring organizations with a list of catering and vendor firms whose insurance certificates are currently on file and who are familiar with the Museum procedures and guidelines. The National Air and Space Museum has final approval in the selection of all vendors.
