This photo shows the completed Seiran on display in the workshop. The final touch was the completion of the aircraft stand which supports the floats and allows easier movement of the aircraft.

December, 1999
Wings assembled and dressed for holiday cheer, the Aichi Seiran nears completion. Work remains on the wing attachment and then the floats will be added.

A small sampling of the many stencilled markings on the Aichi Seiran. Ed Mautner meticulously traced original markings, made the stencils, and applied them to many locations all over the airplane.

For the first time in over 50 years, the Aichi Seiran is about to have its wings attached. This has been a difficult process because of the quality of the design and manufacturing of this aircraft at the end of World War II.
