May, 1999
By May, the Hurricane's ailerons were nearly complete. Several small details needed to be finished before they were ready for color.

Dec, 1998
In December, work had begun on the propeller in the foreground. The three blades are made of wood with a plastic coating and were badly nicked and scratched. David Wilson carefully sanded each blade and added wood where required. Here, the blade is ready for coating with a polyester resin which will then be filed to shape.

Dec, 1998
The left wing and fuselage are shown here near completion. All that remains on the wing is for Will Lee to complete the remanufacture of the missing panels on the undersides (shown).
