Unidentified Archival Flying Objects

Identified UFOs

Our first UFO was identified as the Driggs Coupe by Dennis Parks of the Museum of Flight, Seattle. Many entries noted the similarity to the Driggs Dart; Dennis came up with an Aerodigest article from 1926 proving it's the Coupe with an 70hp Aircat Engine - thanks, Dennis!

UFO #2 was identified by Stanley Piteau, Charles Engen and Larry Knechtel as the Quinn Sport, built by E. Quinn of Roebuck, South Carolina. Thanks to everyone who e-mailed suggestions!

The Rotorcraft XR-11 Dragonfly was our UFO #3, and was identified by Edward G. Folks and Jay Hendrickson. We appreciate all the entries!
