Included within the organizational structure of MARAC is a Caucus for each of the seven states in the Mid-Atlantic Region (New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia) and the District of Columbia. The DC Caucus serves as a forum for discussion of archival issues and needs relating to the District of Columbia area. The Caucus promotes the exchange of information, workshops, and other special programs on archives and manuscript repositories.

While this Web Site is sponsored by the DC Caucus of MARAC, we are interested in promoting the activities of all Archives and Archival organizations in the DC region, and welcome suggestions from all interested individuals. On this site you will find links to the web sites of MARAC and other archival organizations, links to the web sites of Archives and Manuscript repositories in the DC area, announcements of up coming activities sponsored by the DC Caucus, and other items of interest to Archives and Archivists.
