• MESSENGER - mission to Mercury scheduled to launch in 2004.
• NEAR Shoemaker - spacecraft orbited and then landed on asteroid 433 EROS (also encountered asteroid 253 Mathilde June of 97) - NASA/GSFC and APL.
• STARDUST - launched February 1999 to collect cometary dust from Comet Wild-2 in 2003.
