SPACE SHUTTLE PHOTOGRAPHS
In addition to the Regional Planetary
Image Facility (RPIF) located at the Center for Earth and
Planetary Studies (CEPS), and through cooperation with NASA's Johnson Space
Center, CEPS acts as a space shuttle photograph repository. CEPS maintains an
extensive collection of photographs taken by space shuttle astronauts using
hand-held cameras as well as some radar imagery. The collection contains photographs
from STS-41C to the present and is continually growing with each space shuttle
mission. The CEPS collection of shuttle photography is available as a reference
archive to researchers in the scientific community.
