The National Air and Space Museum offers a variety of activities and drop-in programs for families. In addition to viewing the collections and exhibitions on display, here are just some of the fun things for families to do:


Family Programs	Imax & Planetarium	Docent Tours
Check the calendar of events for free Family Days, lectures & other public programs.	See an Imax movie (both locations) or Planetarium show (National Mall Building). Buy Tickets online.	Free Docent-led tours are offered twice daily. No reservations required!


Simulators	Udvar-Hazy Center Observation Tower	Discovery Stations
Take a ride on one of our flight simulators! Tickets can be purchased on-site.	Watch planes take off & land from Washington Dulles International Airport. Tower access is free.	Free 5-15 minute interactive experiences for all visitors.


Demonstrations	Maps & Guides	Public Observatory
Free science demonstrations in the How Things Fly gallery at the National Mall building.	Download floorplans and guides to take along on your visit.	Participate in daytime astronomy and interactive activities.
