Step 4: Evaluate Wright Websites Primary and secondary source documents are the building blocks that historians used to reconstruct the history of the Wright brothers' first flight. But today we get much of our information from the web. Literally hundreds of websites contain information about the Wright brothers. If you were doing research for a Wright brothers' project, how would you know which websites were reliable? Many of the skills that you used to evaluate primary and secondary source documents about the Wrights are the same skills you need to evaluate websites. But because anyone can put materials on the web, it's even more important to evaluate the information on a website critically and skeptically. Your teacher will guide your class in developing a Website Evaluation Worksheet. How would you go about "fact checking" a website where you questioned the credibility?
